Nepal’s maiden participation in LA Times Travel & Adventure Show

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) along with 8 Nepali private Travel Trade companies represented Nepal in the Los Angeles Times Travel and Adventure show. The two-day fair was held in Los Angeles, California from February 13-14, 2010 by Automobile club of Southern California under the sponsorship of Travel Alberta, the Italian government’s Tourism Board and Volvo Cars.

The event was one of the largest Expos in the US covering a space of five acres and was participated by 550 exhibitors. The attendees availed an opportunity to meet their favorite travel personalities, observe cultures from around the world and enjoy on-site activities.

The unique, colourful and well-decorated stall of Nepal received an overwhelming response from visitors. The Nepal stall promoted the upcoming Nepal Tourism Year (NTY) 2011 campaign. Besides updating the visitors on travel seasons and connectivity, it apprised them on trekking and cultural tours. Likewise, the visitors queried about special packages or incentives for NTY 2011.
